چکیده

In this paper, a fiducial-aided reconfigurable artefact is presented for estimating volumetric errors of multi-axis machine tools. The makes use an adjustable number standard balls as fiducials to build 3D which has been calibrated on coordinate measuring (CMM). This demonstrates its reconfigurability in and their locations according the characteristics workpieces developed kinematics tool were employed identify occupied by workpiece working space comparing information acquired on-machine metrology with that CMM. Experimental studies are conducted five-axis ultra-precision tool. A composed five spheres measured integrated measurement system. Factors including gravity effect repeatability also examined order optimize geometry artefact. results show able provide about workpiece.
